Sleek & Chic over Cluster & Fluster
Have you ever noticed that in action films the protagonist is going from place to place free of schlepping stuff around? One example is James Bond. Another are the women that he crosses paths with. They are sleek, chic and organized. You will never catch one of these women digging through their purse looking for their dagger or James Bond rifling through an overstuffed wallet.
Here are a few pointers on enjoying certain activities carefree and organized:
When attending a public event such as dancing, gear up with something small enough where you can keep your essentials such as your wallet and keys on your person.
Have a mini "Go bag" in the trunk of your car with such items as a pair of walking shoes, swimsuit, toothbrush, an extra pair of jeans when out in business or formal wear. In my case I keep a rash guard and board shorts in my ride in case one of my friends spontaneously invites me to go kayaking with her (which happens often). I can meet her from wherever I am as opposed having to turn the opportunity down because I would have to go home first to change.
Keep all your most important documents, extra cash, lap top, hard drive, anything that you consider essentials in a fire and waterproof safe and/or portable file lock box in case of a natural disaster or other emergency. This way if you have to dash in a flash you can pick it up and go. If disaster strikes before you can rescue your precious documents there is a chance they will survive undamaged. There are countless styles and types available to suit your personal needs.
